The ship also has an onboard spa where guests can relax and enjoy treatments with hot stones, aromatherapy, facial treatments, steam rooms, water therapies, body-wraps or a massage. There is also a full-service hair salon. For those who want something a bit more energetic there is the onboard gym which is a fully-equipped fitness facility. Guests can use the weights and jogging machines or they can take part in cardio classes, aerobics or circuit training. Professional fitness experts will design a programme to your requirements. Lessons include aerobics, yoga, pilates and spinning (speed-cycling). Guests can also use the onboard sauna.

On deck the Carnival Cruise ships have pools, waterslides, basketball courts, a 9-hole golf course and much more. Many of the ships now have a sliding glass dome as well as Carnival’s Seaside Theatre which is located next to the pool and shows feature films, sporting events, concerts and other programmes. There is also an outdoor jogging track and outdoor dining facilities and for those who would prefer a quiet break there is the adult-only ‘serenity retreat’.

At night-time the onboard casino offers the most popular games. Guests can enjoy a variety of casino activities, such as blackjack, roulette and poker. The Carnival Players’ Club is free and players could win a car, big money prizes or special cruise deals. There are also spectacular stage shows and entertainment shows featuring a variety of singers, comedians and bands. Guests can choose from a variety of night clubs, piano bars, stage shows, karaoke and pool parties. The night clubs feature good dance floors and great music, everything from golden oldies to the latest pop songs. In the sports bars guests can watch a game and enjoy a drink; these bars feature many flat-screen TVs and many have a wine bar.
